Ise Suikou White Tea (F4)

This is a white tea made from F4, a native Taiwanese mountain tea variety.
It was hand-picked and processed in 2026.
White tea has a very low degree of fermentation during production, with almost no activation of the tea leaves' oxidative enzymes. This gives it a high antioxidant effect, so much so that it is sometimes called "the beauty serum you can drink."

● About the F4 variety
This rare black tea variety is 50% native Taiwanese mountain tea and 50% Qingxin Oolong.
The "F" in F4 is said to come from Formosa. In Portuguese, Formosa means Taiwan.
It exhibits the leaf color (brown) characteristic of native Taiwanese mountain tea varieties, with a white core, showing the characteristics of Qingxin Oolong.

Since the leaves are large, it's easy to brew a delicious cup using a gaiwan or a lipped bowl instead of a teapot.
It's also lovely to enjoy tea time by pre-warming the teaware with hot water, then adding 4-5g of tea leaves and watching them slowly sink. The brewing temperature is 80-90°C. You can enjoy it several times by adding more hot water.

For an easy way to enjoy it, we recommend a casual style of putting tea leaves in a large teacup or a personal bottle and extracting it with hot water, cold water, or sparkling water.
