This black tea was hand-picked in May 2025. The variety is "Beni Homare," an Indoor Assam-type tea tree.
"Beni Homare" is Japan's first black tea-specific variety (Chano-rin No. 1). Black tea made from "Beni Homare" in Kameyama is considered a rare, almost mythical black tea variety, said to be "the first Japanese black tea to catch up with overseas black teas," and is now grown in only a few locations.

Product Details

Place approximately 3g of tea leaves in a 120cc gaiwan or teapot, pour in boiling water, and steep for about 10 seconds. The key to brewing delicious tea is to thoroughly warm the tea set with boiling water before adding the tea leaves.
