Ise Suikou White Tea (Yabukita)

This white tea is made from carefully hand-picked new buds and leaves (one bud and one leaf, or one bud and two leaves) harvested in spring.
Yabukita is the most common tea cultivar produced in Japan.
Consequently, it is also the most common cultivar found in abandoned tea fields.
We are experimenting with white tea, hoping to utilize Yabukita's characteristics for beverages other than green tea.
It has resulted in a refreshing, slightly green white tea, while still retaining Yabukita's familiar flavor.
This is freshly made white tea.
We also recommend enjoying the difference by letting it age for a year to develop a deeper flavor before drinking.
